Can one person set-up a CoolCabana?

Yes! All CoolCabanas have been designed to be set-up by one person. You can check out a full video and instructions for setup here .

Which size should I buy?

We typically recommend a Large for families or groups of three and above. A medium is ideal for a group of one-two. It is important to note that whilst the large is only 10cm longer when packed up, it provides 45% more shade when open.

Do CoolCabanas provide UV protection?

Yes! All styles of CoolCabanas provide UPF 50+ protection, and have been tested by an independent third party. You can check out those test results here .

Can I carry it easily?

CoolCabanas are designed to be easily carried on your beach or lake journey. They come with an ergonomically designed carry bag, featuring a shoulder strap, and weigh 14lbs (Large) and 13lbs (Medium).

Will this fit in my car?

Yes! CoolCabanas will fit in (almost) all cars. When in the carry bag, CoolCabanas are 3'5" (Large) and 3'2" (Medium).

Can CoolCabanas be used on grass?

Yes! CoolCabanas can be used on grass, making them ideal for use at sporting games, the park, or lake. For use on grass, you will need to pick up our grass kit .

Terrible

I purchased this for my daughter to enjoy with my grandchildren, but unfortunately, the pole bent during their second use. The customer service was extremely disappointing; they provided no assistance whatsoever. According to Australian law, if a product breaks within 45 days of purchase, it should be replaced or refunded. Instead, I felt mistreated by this company. Save yourself the trouble and choose a different brand. You definitely don’t want to deal with this overpriced and poorly made product.

Love setting up my cabana next to the river on Sunny Sundays and sleeping on the sand. Great quality, so easy to set up and pack up.

Not for a windy day.

Today was our first day using our CoolCabana. We also have a Shibumi Shade. We loved the CoolCabana. Easy set-up and so quiet. Unfortunately, the wind picked up and we had to take it down. While it is much louder, the Shibumi Shade is better for a windy day.

Impressive design structurally sound.

We set up our new Red Label Coolcabana on a gorgeous beach off the coast of South Carolina two days ago. The setup was easy although with very hard packed beach sand you need a bit of strength to drive the post in.

The colors are bright and vivid and it withstood pretty strong winds with high surf as a result of the approaching off shore Erin hurricane. The canvas carrier bag was pretty easy to remove during setup and pretty easy to pack back up. Having used Shibumi shades for many years, the weight of the Coolcabana was the only negative.

We love our Cool Cabana! Our friends purchased one as well. They are super easy to set up and look so pretty.

We bought the 8 x 8 which gives us shade for 4 people in beach chairs.
