Warranty & Returns


We know you're going to love your CoolCabana and we make them to improve your experience outdoors without compromising on quality. We want you to be confident in making your purchase so in the unlikely event of a manufacturing or material defect we'll make it right within 1 year of your purchase. All you need to do is follow the instructions below.


In accordance with consumer laws consumers must return items so they can be assessed by the supplier to determine if damage is a manufactruing defect or caused by misuse. Here at CoolCabanas we have interchangeable components and found it Simpler, Smarter and Better for clients to first email us details of the problem, supporting photos and their order number to hello@coolcabanas.com Upon receipt of all information we'll then make an intial assessment and can usually offer a solution without you needing to send the item back for a full assessment.

Please note our warranty covers items purchased directly from us, if you purchased elsewhere you'll need to contact your Re-seller. We've also thoroughly tested CoolCabanas over 4 years, sold in excess of 70,000, fully back our product, made them strong enough to withstand normal beach conditions and winds up to 20kts when used correctly.

The entire frame and all 4 telescoping arms of all CoolCabanas versions 1&2 (sold 2015-2018) are made from extruded aluminium, each arm is tested and capable of supporting 8.5kg (18.7lbs) of dead weight hanging off the very end of a fully extended arm before a break will occur at the hinge point. This strength is well within the designed and tested wind loading.

If we deem the issue misuse we'll provide a price for a replacement part and if you've shipped it to us a price also to re-ship the item back to you.

Where damage is a manufacturing or material defect we'll let you know if your CoolCabana needs to be returned for an in-depth assessment and we'll either ship a replacement free of charge or repair it and refund the return shipping costs and pay to re-ship it back to you.

Please note our warranty specifically excludes: Damage caused by high winds, misuse, negligent use, excessive force, damage caused by fair wear and tear or damage caused by not using your CoolCabana in accordance with the instructions and CoolCabanas reserves the right to determine whether or not the fault is a manufacturing defect or not.

If the damage was caused by misuse then don't worry - just scroll to the bottom of this page where you can purchase a replacement part and we'll ship it straight out so you can get back on the beach as soon as possible. Note, we know people do break things by accident so to make it easy we only charge the shipping and handling fees we incur in providing replacement parts to you.


Returns must be received within 14 days of shipping by us, be unopened, in original packaging and resalable. Buyer's are responsible for the return and original shipping costs. Do not ship items sold by any third party to us as the third party Re-Seller is responsible for their returns and refunds to their clients.

To return an item go to our web-store and purchase a Shipping Change / Return Label. Email a copy of this and your original CoolCabana order details to us at hello@coolcabanas.com and we'll then email you a return label. Attach the return label to the original CoolCabana box and leave out to be collected by the courier. Once received back and we've checked the items can be resold we'll refund the original order amount less the original shipping costs.


Once returns are assessed and a refund authorised you will receive a refund notice and the funds are automatically and immediately deducted from our account, the time it takes for the refund to appear on your card or account depends upon the provider and can take up to 2 weeks or more.
