We had the opportunity for the first time last week to use our new Cool Cabana Red Label. The first two days, the opinion was good product, easy to put up and take down with out the worry that the wind would pull it out of the sand like a beach umbrella as we relaxed on the beach. It has good wind endurance. On day three, we discovered a 1 1/2 inch tear in the material in the area roof near the wind vent. This discovery was very disappointing based on the expensive purchase price of the product. You expected a better quality product that would last longer than 3 days at the beach. We have been proven wrong on that assumption. We have great concerns now about how much longer we can expect our new Cool Cabana Red Label to be used at the beach until the tear increases in size and I would have great doubt in purchasing a second one to replace it too.

I chose solid navy so besides using it at the beach, we can use it in the yard for any occasion!

We extensively reviewed options for beach shade/cover. We compared: shibumi, neso, and coolcabanas. For our needs and based on all product reviews, we went with coolcabanas. The cabana length/width dimensions are about 7.5 ft x 7.5 ft (but provides 8 ft of advertised shade coverage because of the height?) Our coolcabana-red label looks shorter than what is advertised. We had difficulty getting the center spike into the beach enough by the "sand line" so we had to build sand around it or use an ice chest to lean the pole against for additional support. It covered 4 adults with beach chairs. We used the coolcabana during a storm/hurricane and the coolcabana withstood 20-30 MPH winds. The coolcabana is easy to put up and take down definitely with 2 people, sometimes with 1 person (but if it is very windy that makes it much more challenging). The carrying bag that comes with it is helpful and not too tight but it is white, so it gets dirty extremely easily.

Love it. Solid construction & stays put in strong winds. Floral Print is adorable.

I have sent you a reply email to your request for a response as to how I liked my cool cabana. As you can see below the pole snapped in the strong North Carolina at nags head wind. I am requesting new polls. Otherwise on a not so windy day it was wonderful.
