Replacement Sand Spike

I’ve already gone through two poles in 2 years. While they work well in windless conditions, if there is any sustained wind, it will bend it. Because of the aforementioned, it’s hard to recommend as it is not realistic to find a beach that does not have wind.

I'm ordering a new one - frankly however, while the aluminum spike is ideal from the perspective of metallurgy, it does not hold up under strong winds that buffet the tent. I've had to hammer/straighten the spike a few times. Suggest you offer a thicker spike as an option. It's getting darn near impossible to sleeve the center spike assembly together, and nearly impossible to perfectly straighten the spike.
