They need to make the sand spike longer and more durable. We were at Ocean City, Maryland and it was a lil windy and the spike bent and our cabana went over. Luckily it didn't hit anyone. This is what it looks like.
In general, the cabana works as advertised. Relatively easy to put up and take down. Regrettably, after taking this brand new CoolCabana to the beach for the very first time, .the sand spike bent right away. We're not talking about unusual beach conditions at the Jersey shore, just a normal steady marine breeze. So I'm buying a new one spike, what else is there to do?
While cute to look at, the spike bends easily and won’t last on a windy beach day.
I’ve already gone through two poles in 2 years. While they work well in windless conditions, if there is any sustained wind, it will bend it. Because of the aforementioned, it’s hard to recommend as it is not realistic to find a beach that does not have wind.
